As I was cooking up a supper that involved browning some onions, garlic and mushrooms and then steaming them with courgette [zucchini] before stirring in some inexplicably tinned [canned] cherry tomatoes; I got a phone call from my Shakespeare scene festival director - who is also my on-stage mother. I was supposed to be rehearsing the bedroom scene. Aargh.
Also today I bought a car for $350.
