I flew from Chicago to London for £220 return [that's $392 as was]. Quick money-saving tip for transatlantic flights: fly with Aer Lingus to/from Dublin. Then get to where you're going in Europe with a low-cost carrier. I combined Aer Lingus with Ryanair and booked 2 to 3 months ago.

  1. Did you sit right at the front of the plane? I wouldn't recommend it. Especially not on Easy Jet. A slow sweat forms on the brow.
