3 April 2006

Early this morning, while no one was looking, the state of Indiana standardised itself and moved to Eastern Daylight Time. Then adjusted its clothing and quietly cleared its throat. This is massively historic. Up till now Indiana has embarrassingly had up to three different time zones at any given point during the year. We're now facing east to march to the beat of New York's drum. It's still at that awkward parvenu stage - I don't think I can live at this speed.
