Football on the rec, morris dancers and a shopping trip - not everyone's idea of a good St. Stephen's Day. Reports from the interior suggest more than a quarter of a million people joined Boxing Day hunts today, despite 2005's fox hunting ban. For all the talk about this barbaric practice having no place in our civilised society (in this day and age), at the time it was also one in the eye for the toffs. The ideal that modern life should be as bloodless as possible - that'll take a lot of police time for starters.
