Microsoft put in a bid for Yahoo today. In other bidding news, the US wireless spectrum auction has met the minimum bid that ensures open access to mobile devices as an FCC requirement for whoever wins "C" block. Google was participating, but it's undisclosed who has the winning bid - which at the moment is over a tenth of a Yahoo.
