I asked John McMahon what music he'd recommend if there was just one album right now that I should take back with me to Indiana. Ironically, In the Aeroplane over the Sea by neutral milk hotel is one of the few new albums I have been exposed to since the summer and what I've been cycling to campus to, for about two months. Lots of visceral stuff, literally.

Dom seems to like Arctic Monkeys a lot. Their debut album is coming out in the UK a week early on 23rd Jan and Feb 21st in the US: Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not. And on March 18th - the day after they play SXSW - they'll be at Metro in Chicago. For today, however, I'll be in an aeroplane over the sea.
