Is blogging going to be more about the freeing up of mainstream media - and its balkanisation, or is it going to be more about interpersonal communication about things you care about with people you care about? Distributed networks or socially localised networks? To use a phrase used by Anil Dash, a blog is not in-your-face communication. What is a feed? You have to go and get it. Then it flits in your face. It's butterfly pavilion communication. Gaargh!
