I took two important steps towards personhood in Japan today - I've now got business cards and a seal. I think I'm precluded from some of the steps, but it's a start. You need the seal to set up a bank account.

    It turns out my local branch manager would actually have accepted any aquatic mammal. If I'd known this, I would have taken my sea cow (or manatee).
