As of next month all user content on Japan's social networking site mixi will belong to mixi. The SNS is also planning to launch in China. Facebook's equivalent clause automatically grants the company "an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, worldwide license" to use people's content (such as photos they've posted) for anything.
